Every Memphis food list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, barbecue, breakfast, burgers, sushi, desserts, bakeries, patios, brunch and date night.

Last checked 2026-10-18. Refreshed every three months.

These are our Memphis food lists, one page per kind of food. Each one is alphabetical, gives the address, the hours each place publishes on its own website and a phone number, and links to the place itself. None of them is a ranking.

How we made these lists. Every list starts from OpenStreetMap records inside the Memphis city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, and is checked against each place’s own website. We add a place when its own site gives a Memphis street address, and drop one whose site is gone or says it has closed. Nobody paid to be on any list. Run a Memphis restaurant? Write to us to be added or to correct your entry.

The lists

Where to get wings. Wing shops with their own sites, mostly on the south and east sides: D’bo’s on Elvis Presley Boulevard and Malco Crossing, the Wing Guru on Mount Moriah Road, three Rayford’s stores and Hooters near Wolfchase.

Where to get pizza. Downtown and South Main, Overton Square and South Cooper Street in Midtown, and North Germantown Parkway in Cordova, with older Memphis names Exlines’ and Garibaldi’s spread across the city.

Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. A first, short list: Molly’s La Casita on Madison Avenue, Chukis Tacos on Poplar Avenue and chain stores we could confirm. More will be added as we confirm taquerias with sites of their own.

Where to get barbecue. The Rendezvous and Central BBQ downtown, Cozy Corner on North Parkway, Interstate on South Third Street, Leonard’s in Cordova and six Tops Bar-B-Q stores.

Breakfast and coffee. Early breakfast on Summer Avenue and Walker Avenue, downtown coffee shops from Madison Avenue to South Main, Café Eclectic in Midtown and Harbor Town, and Sunrise downtown and in East Memphis.

Where to get burgers. Five Huey’s restaurants inside the city, the Green Beetle on South Main, Wahlburgers at the Pyramid, Five Guys on Union Avenue and Krystal on Poplar Avenue.

Sushi and Asian restaurants. Three Sekisui restaurants, South Main Sushi and Good Fortune Co. ramen on South Main, Flame Ramen on Union Avenue, Tokyo Grill on Kirby Parkway and Formosa on Quince Road.
