Ice cream, gelato, pops, snoballs and candy in Memphis: five shops with eight locations from South Main and Crosstown to East Memphis and Whitehaven.

Last checked 2026-10-18. Refreshed every three months.

Memphis sweet shops sit downtown on South Main Street, at Crosstown Concourse in Midtown and in East Memphis around Laurelwood and Ridgeway Road, with a snoball stand in Whitehaven and a candy shop in Raleigh. For cakes, cookies and pastry, see our bakeries list.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Memphis city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 18, 2026. Extra locations of the same business were added from its own site where it gives a Memphis street address; stores in Germantown and Collierville are left out. Where a shop’s own site gives a different address from our records, we use the address on its site. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it.
