How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Memphis city limits, the same records behind our local business directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 18, 2026. More than 30 Mexican places appear in those records, but many have no website of their own, and others have sites that would not load for us or no longer work, so this first list is short. The places

Chipotle is the national burrito and bowl chain. Its store pages list four restaurants inside Memphis: Union Avenue in Midtown, Summer Avenue, Poplar Avenue in East Memphis and North Germantown Parkway. All four keep the same hours.

Chukis Tacos #2 describes itself as an authentic Mexican restaurant. Its menu lists birria tacos, quesabirria, chimichangas and aguas frescas, and it has a salsa bar. It offers dine-in and takeout, and takes orders online.

Molly’s La Casita has served Tex-Mex and margaritas on Madison Avenue for more than 40 years, in a peach-colored adobe building near Overton Square. Its menu names homemade hot tamales, chimichangas, fajitas, bacon-wrapped shrimp and red snapper. It serves a weekend brunch and takes orders online.

Taco Bell is the national fast-food chain. The Germantown Parkway store in Cordova has the latest hours on this list.
