Bao Toan at Crosstown Concourse wins a Bib Gourmand and Fawn in Cooper-Young joins the list. All five 2025 Memphis picks kept their places. See all seven.

Memphis now has seven restaurants in the Michelin Guide. Two of them are new this year.

Bao Toan Kitchen & Bar, the Vietnamese restaurant inside Crosstown Concourse, earned a Bib Gourmand. Fawn in Cooper-Young was added as a Michelin Recommended restaurant. The 2026 American South selection was announced Tuesday, Oct. 21, at a ceremony in Nashville.

All five Memphis restaurants named in the first edition last year kept their places, according to Memphis Tourism’s list of the city’s Michelin restaurants.

Bao Toan joins Hog & Hominy as a Bib Gourmand

The Bib Gourmand is Michelin’s award for good food at a good price. Memphis now has two: Bao Toan, which is new, and Hog & Hominy in East Memphis, which kept the honor it won in 2025.

Michelin’s inspectors called Bao Toan “a lively, chic dining spot offering elevated takes on Vietnamese comfort dishes.” They named two dishes: cà ri Sài Gòn, a Saigon-style curry, and canh gà lá chanh, a chicken soup. That comes from Michelin’s own list of 2026 Bib Gourmands in the American South, published Oct. 21.

Bao Toan was one of 14 new Bib Gourmands across the region, which now has 59 in all. Memphis Tourism said it is the first Vietnamese restaurant in Tennessee to receive the honor.

Crosstown Concourse describes Bao Toan as a modern Vietnamese restaurant rooted in family tradition that began as a mother-daughter project.

Every Memphis restaurant in the 2026 guide

The distinctions come from Michelin and Memphis Tourism. The neighborhoods and cuisines are as Memphis Tourism lists them. Memphis has no Michelin-starred restaurant. Tennessee’s starred restaurants are in Nashville.

Memphis Tourism describes Fawn as a farm-to-table small plates restaurant. Its menu draws on Spanish, Middle Eastern, Southern Italian and Creole cooking. It names chef Theresa Schuenke as the cook behind the menu.

A Recommended listing is Michelin’s entry level. It sits below a Bib Gourmand and a star.
