- The Peabody Memphis: in 2026 the hotel served Mother’s Day brunch on The Mezzanine overlooking the Grand Lobby from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, with reservations taken online (Mother’s Day Brunch). The 2027 date and menu had not been posted when we checked.

- Memphis Farmers Market, downtown: every Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., April to October, with farmers, prepared food and kitchen and garden artisans. Saturday, May 8, 2027, is the market day before Mother’s Day (Memphis Farmers Market).
- Agricenter Farmers Market, 7856 Smythe Farm Road: open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in its summer season (Agricenter Farmers Market).

Mother’s Day is not a public holiday, so city offices, libraries and trash pickup run on their normal schedules that week. Memorial Day closings, two weeks later, are on our Memorial Day page.
